Pondok Pesantren Darul Ulum is a private Islamic educational institution. Initiated in 2021, the Islamic boarding school was founded in 2020 by H. Muhtar D, H. Marzuki H AR, H. Pansyah, H. Abdul Basir, S. Ag, and their colleagues, with an integrated curriculum system, boarding education, and intensive Arabic and English language instruction.

Pondok Pesantren Darul Ulum is located on Jl. Yos Sudarso, Trans Kalimantan Crossroad, RT. 07, Kujan Village, Bulik District, Lamandau Regency, Central Kalimantan Province. The pesantren's location is very advantageous as it is on the outskirts of the capital city, which facilitates communication with both government agencies and the wider community.

Supported by a beautiful natural environment, Darul Ulum Islamic Boarding School strives to produce well-understood individuals in religion to become leaders for the ummah/nation. It always endeavors to create an education for students that fosters sincerity, simplicity, independence, Islamic brotherhood, and freedom of thought and behavior based on the Quran and the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad SAW to increase piety to Allah SWT.

As a type of Islamic boarding school, students at Pondok Pesantren Darul Ulum have open and moderate minds, without eliminating the role of Islam. Discipline and simplicity are applied in daily life within the campus environment.

At Darul Ulum Islamic Boarding School, the management of education and teaching, as well as the daily activities of the students, are carried out by teachers/ustads with educational backgrounds from various universities and Islamic boarding schools. The majority of these teachers/ustads reside in the dormitory, fully supervising and guiding students in the teaching and learning process and in student welfare.
