Islamic calligraphy consists of seven scripts: Naskh, Thuluth, Diwani, Diwani Jali, Riq'ah, and Kufi. Calligraphy training for beginners typically uses the Naskh script because it is the most widely used and frequently encountered script in Indonesia, including in the writing of the Quran.
